Sometimes small projects make a bigger difference than we expect. Over the course of two weekends and a few weekdays, I spent some time giving one of our tennis courts a refresh—disconnecting and tightening loose poles and crossbars, fixing sections of fencing, and putting 14 cans of black paint to work on posts that had seen better days.
What started as rusty, mixed green metal now looks cleaner, sharper, and more inviting—and it really shows how much impact steady, simple effort can have over time.
More importantly (and don’t worry, you didn’t miss out 😄): we still have another court to tackle this spring and plan to give it the same treatment. If you’ve ever thought, “I should help out one of these days,” this might be your moment. Extra hands would make it faster—and more fun.
