🎾 Bayberry Thanksgiving Pickleball Open Play – Round Robin

📅 Saturday, November 29th (Rain date Sunday)

📍Bayberry Tennis & Pickleball Courts

We’re excited to host another fun Pickleball Round Robin event —  with three levels of play so everyone can join at the right pace! This is a Thanksgiving Edition that means you can work off all the stuffing you had on Thursday. It is getting colder so we will start later in the day.

🕒 Schedule & Divisions

  • 10:00 – 11:30 AMBlack Group (Advanced)

  • 11:30 – 1:00 PMBlue Group (Intermediate)

  • 1PM – 2:30 PMGreen Group (Beginner)

🔢 Format

  • 18 players per time slot (with 2 sitting out each round on rotation)

  • Round Robin style — mix & match partners for fast, fun games

  • All participants must register and suggest the group level they’d like to join

✅ Registration

  • Open to all Bayberry Association Members (even if you don’t have active Tennis Membership) If you enjoy you can join after.

  • Please sign up early — spots are limited to 18 players per group

  • Indicate your preferred group when registering

  • Join us for a fun day of pickleball! Each session is limited to 18 players (16 on court + 2 rotating) — spots fill up quickly, so register right away.

ℹ️ Notes

  • Players are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes before their session for check-in and warm-up

  • Bring water, paddles, and your best energy!

  • Spectators are welcome

👉 If you can’t make it this time but would like to be notified about future events, please check the box on the registration form.

We’ll play timed 12-minute games with player rotations to keep things fresh and competitive. All levels welcome!

🔄 Rotation With 18 Players & 4 Courts

  • 4 courts, 16 players active, 2 sitting out each round.

  • Games are 12 minutes timed.

  • At the end of each round:

    • Winners move up a court (split partners).

    • Losers move down a court (split partners).

    • Losers on Court 4 → rotate out to sit.

    • 2 new sit-outs rotate back in on Court 4 in next round.

🚨 Sit-Out Fairness Rule

  • If you just sat out and return to Court 4 but lose again, you don’t sit again immediately.

  • Instead, the sit-out rotates to other players on Court 4 who haven’t sat yet.

  • If everyone on Court 4 has already sat, then the sit-out passes upward to Court 3 (and so on if needed).
